Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s brightly colored and chirps quite often.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Magenta Eternal QuirkyPetunia came to the Clan as a gift from another Dragon Keeper during the last few days that Bright Pink Dragons were able to lay eggs of their own color. She indeed lives up to her name as quirky. She is often seen in a flower patch dancing to some unknown tune in her head. She loves flowers especially pink ones like her hide, which emits a soft pink glow. She often hangs with the silver dragons particularly Silvrie and Glown, for they share a love of music. The adult Bright Pinks keep an eye on her so that she doesn't get into any trouble. Shes a sweet hatchling content to be forever young. Often times when speaking with other dragons she will suddenly spout something random that has nothing to do with the conversation. Many of the adult dragons adore this cute Bright Pink hatchling.
