Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Chronos are often considered to be the most elusive of all Xenowyrm subspecies: they live in the darkest and densest forests, far from civilization. They are masters of time magic, allowing them to manipulate the flow of time at will. It is said that Chrono lairs are protected by a field of magic that makes the minutes tick by at a slow pace for any unwanted visitors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Warp is the prodigious child of Xeno Family patriarch, Tardis. If Tardis was strict with his siblings, he is extremely so with Warp. Being his only Chrono child, a lot of pressure was put on Warp for him to be the best, and, while he may not match the same expertise as his father, he has certainly achieved high standing within the family due to his magical prowess. Warp is an incredible user of time magic, able to perform devastating spells that alter the space-time-continuum. He has even been trained how to act. Warp was taught to appear sophisticated, calm, and all-knowing in front of everyone at all times. In essence, he was specifically molded to be his father, a carbon copy meant to replace Tardis as patriarch in the future. But the reality is everything Warp pretends to be he simply isn't. In truth, Warp is shy, tepid, and nerve-wracked all the time, just trying to earn his father's approval and be loved.
