Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Chronos are often considered to be the most elusive of all Xenowyrm subspecies: they live in the darkest and densest forests, far from civilization. They are masters of time magic, allowing them to manipulate the flow of time at will. It is said that Chrono lairs are protected by a field of magic that makes the minutes tick by at a slow pace for any unwanted visitors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Xeno's are a powerful family in their community, and Tardis himself is seen as the leader of it, despite being the second oldest. He is a very serious, strict sort of dragon, who directs his siblings like a businessman would. He takes great care to manage them and ensure they are doing their jobs to better their community. He is a stickler for morals, getting on his siblings' cases if he suspects they are doing something selfish or immoral, which is fine in and of itself, but he can get very intense and very harsh when this happens. Tardis is known to use his Time magic in pretty cruel ways to punish those he deams immoral. He won't kill anyone, that goes against his code, but will do things like age them several years or curse them to relive the same day repeatedly or stuff like that until they admit their wrong doing. He sees himself as the pinnacle of morality and justice, never realizing that, while he checks everyone around him, no one is checking him.
