Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blessed Tempest's job is to water the cave's crops with her weather controlling ability. She can give the crops the just perfect amount of rain and sun, but the problem is she is very temperamental. Her temper is just as likely to make her destroy the crops then help them. Her mate is Wily Waterbug, who is very grounded but lazy. Her energy and temper and his laziness and calm tend to balance each other out. The children she tends to have turn out with extreme temperaments. Her family is one of the most argumentative in the cave. Family rivalry abounds. It is more common in her children to see that the family hates one another instead of loving one another. It is matter of genetics mainly. They inherit her temperament but then they have no one like her mate to balance them out, so instead they end up with extremely difficult temperaments.
