When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Waking Nightmare is the child of Blessed Tempest and Wily Waterbug. Unfortunately, she inherited the worst characteristics of both. She has a terrible temper and she is even lazier then her father. She uses bullying and scaring techniques to get others to do her work while she does absolutely nothing. Even worse, she can be very cruel to any who oppose her or makes her even slightly unhappy. Her cruelty is well known throughout the cave and most of the other dragons shun and ignore her. The dragons who do interact with her tend to have violent personalities like her. She seems to have a soft spot, if you could call any part of her soft, for a dragon called Flowery Falsity. He is cruel also, is not crueler then her. He has almost no morals and tears anyone, except her, that get to close to pieces.
