Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ridiculous Black Lady of Wayne is a noblewoman of the Black Clan. She was born to the Black Knight, who is the king's best friend. She grew up traveling between her father's quarters in the palace, full of opulence and intrigue, and her mother's quarters at the Temple, simple and yet magical. For a while, Lady of Wayne considered joining the priesthood, until adolescence brought her into contact with The Dark Knight. Lady Wayne took one look at his smoldering passion and it was love at first sight.

Her father waited until she was of an age and then spoke to the King. Lady Wayne was so giddy that she didn't notice The Dark Knight hardly shared her exuberance. He's glad enough to have an attentive and attractive mate, so Lady Wayne remains blissfully ignorant in her assertion that she has true love. The Dark Knight likes her well enough that he doesn't burst her bubble.
