Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. HolyRidiculousBlackDragonBatman was another political gift to the Queen from the land of Pesha. There are many great and heroic dragons there, and HRBDB is from the strongest bloodline. Her gifts manifested as a great psychic power, so she was given to the temple as a hatchling to be taught their ways. She was a diligent and intelligent acolyte, and she quickly rose within the ranks of the priesthood. She was offered the position of Head Priestess, but turned it down because the rigors of the station would not leave her enough time for meditating and gardening. Instead, she was given a valiant mate in the Black Knight, and was further honored when her eldest was chosen as the Prince's bride.
