Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Naive, crazy, immature, and many more things would her friend, Dream Aaz, yell at her when she invented a new way to have fun, and she would laugh every single time, not feeling the least bit offended. Sure, she was crazy, naive and immature, but she was young and full of life. There was nothing Starwind loved more than to test her own limits, flying as high as she could before getting dizzy, as fast as she could before her vision blurred, diving as deep as possible until the pain in her ears grew unbearable or how long she could stay on the air.

However, there was something she loved even more than trying out her body's limits, and that was testing Dream Aaz's patience. When she wasn't playing a prank on him, she was feigning an injury, or nagging him endlessly to join her in a race over the mountaintops. It was a wonder the serious, severe and boring Dream Aaz tolerated her so, but she absolutely loved it when he was on the verge of losing his temper and snapping at her.
