Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Grunelda is the daughter of Grunner and Gruna.  It is a mystery as to how she came into being as Grunner is trapped in a cave he can not fit out of.  Grunelda is very proud of her parents and herself.  She does everything in her power to be the paragon of what a green dragon should be.  Just like her parents, Grunelda is very protective over her keeper.  In fact sometimes she gets into fights with her mother because she wants to watch over the keeper herself.
