Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gruna is a usually gentle green dragon residing in the valley of Fern.  The only time she becomes aggressive is if she is guarding an egg or if she feels the valley is at all threatened.  She was found injured and her cry is a telling sign of it.  She can't call as loud as other dragons, it is more of a rasping yelp.  If she needs immediate attention she will slam her tail on the ground hard enough to shake the whole valley.
