Magnesium Amphipteres are a rather violent species. They ruthlessly drive out anything that dares to trespass on their territory, and spend much of their time flying tirelessly in wide circles as they hunt and patrol their space. Often a single individual shows aggression between even its own two heads as they fight for food and control over their body. They are not social and will only come together to mate, after which the two dragons return to their own territory almost instantly. Magnesium Amphipteres are named for their flames: these dragons can breathe blindingly bright, powdery flame from both heads.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Unlike his father, who is actually pretty social when compared to other Magnesium Amphipteres, Hakan more closely fits into the standard role of his breed. He is extremely vicious and lashes out at others on the slightest impulse. He'll often get into brawls with his father that start and stop spontaneously. The same goes for the many dragons they live with. Often times, Hakan will just pick a fight at random to satisfy his need to prove his own strength, somehow making him even more dangerous than his already notorious father. The only dragon he never touches (and is arguably the only reason he remains in such a crowded environment) is his mother, Dos. For some reason, Hakan cares incredibly deeply for her and wants to see her happy and safe. It's the only thing he and his father agree on, and they almost valiantly defend her from harm. When steamed, Hakan will leave his crowed home island to take long trips to himself, but it doesn't take him long to return if he hears trouble.
