Magnesium Amphipteres are a rather violent species. They ruthlessly drive out anything that dares to trespass on their territory, and spend much of their time flying tirelessly in wide circles as they hunt and patrol their space. Often a single individual shows aggression between even its own two heads as they fight for food and control over their body. They are not social and will only come together to mate, after which the two dragons return to their own territory almost instantly. Magnesium Amphipteres are named for their flames: these dragons can breathe blindingly bright, powdery flame from both heads.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Two-headed dragons are unique enough to deserve a separate classification from ordinary dragons. They have two necks, two brains, two mouths, but one stomach and one main body. The two heads usually work together, but there are times when they will fight each other, snapping back and forth. Their unique anatomy prevents them from breeding with single-headed dragons.

User Description

Slag is ever so slightly more social than her sister, Slate. Bear in mind, Slag's family lives in a massive community with other dragons, so they tend to be tolerant of other breeds (emphasis on tolerant.) While Slate has entirely given up on this and comes home very rarely, Slag is able to put up with this life just enough to stay with her family. She is generally very aggressive. She hates talking and is especially intolerant of anyone entering her personal space. This includes her own heads. If they are even a little too close to one another, they will fight. She also fights a lot with her parents, though for different reasons. Slag has a need to be seen as intimidating and strong. She is rather big for a Magnesium, easily the biggest in her family, and has a complex to prove it. So, she will very often spar with her parents, usually challenging them out of the blue. These matches are something to witness, as they can get super intense. There is a running score being counted.
