It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Her name means "Stroll" in Japanese. She's the firstborn daughter of Raiden and Aika, and is her daddy's pride and joy. She is one of the most beautiful dragons in the colony. She has delicate elegant features, with soft lavender scales accentuated with golden tassels. She also has the most beautiful blue eyes, the same color as the ocean on the clearest of days. She's also a fabulous singer and enjoys going on leisurely walks through the forest. Her great love of walks is how she earned her name. The first thing she did after emerging from her egg was to walk around, just for the joy of walking. Now she goes on her walks with her mate, Kichiro. They met at a social gathering, and after talking for awhile, realized that they loved each others company. Soon enough they were courting rather seriously. They became mates on a beautiful spring morning. Their love is eternal, and they look forward to spending forever together. They are soul mates, and they wouldn't have it any other way.
