Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Loadmaster is the freshest meat in the 8th Sun Regiment. He held a "slate job" for two years, doing communications work that the fielders often mocked, and he's wanted to prove himself. The time came when the regiment was finally given a field mission, and no one was more excited. On the third day, Loadmaster went alone to collect materials for the fire pit. Not half an hour in, he came across an oddity: resting on a branch was this dark rodent with long, thick hairs. It turned its back on him, and rather offended, he went closer—the impetuous thing would make a yummy meal. Suddenly, the creature lashed out its tail, the hairs on which turned out to be solid and very sharp. Dragons hurried to the source of the yelp to see Loadmaster lying dazed on the leaf litter, a dozen porcupine barbs embedded in his face. The medic cast a spell to prevent him from bleeding out, but he needed to be sent home for proper treatment. Poor Loadmaster was the first in his unit to be quilled in action.
