Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Droze's eyesight may not be the best, but it doesn't impede with her love of twirling and pulling off other difficult maneuvers in the sky, impressing spectators below with her skill. "Droze," the other two members of the triumvirate say, "you have a realm to administer! You cannot flit and float when there is work to complete, questions to answer, subjects to attend to." The truth is that there isn't much for the avatars to do, since they often leave all creatures to their own devices. They just find Droze's showy, flippant behavior and unwillingness to do anything they ask of her rather childish and unbecoming for an avatar.
