This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as “Guardians of Nature.” They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Arma Ultime in the beginning was adored and admired by her clan, but over time most of her clan members began to fear her. Arma often uses her powers to help her clan with raids, battles and winning territory. Even though she has aided her clan many times with her powers to obtain recognition from them it also ironically alienated her from them in the progress because they fear her tremendous god like abilities and ruthlessness. She has a love-hate relationship with her clan as she is one of the sole reasons why her clan prospers but also a source of fear. Arma doesn't know how to handle the clan members that are intimidated by her, making her feel insecure and lonely. Despite everything, she is loyal, viewing them as family. She views all the legendary ice, magma and lightning dragons as her superiors because they summoned her. She gives only the thunder dragon Zayne Zebulon a higher status (actually calling him Father) because he was the first to initiate the ritual to summon her.
