Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wenzyl (when-ZAI-el) has it set in his head that his bloodline is descendant of mighty kings and powerful warriors and that it is even more influential than the Dorkface heritage. In reality it's just a bunch of snooty aristocrats with a history of asthma. Him and his children together have caused more eye rolls than a crazy sushi chief and gain more facepalms by the hour through not only their attitudes; but by the fact they act like a crazy celebrity family. If it's not addressing the cave of their family vacation it'll probably be hiring a human butler or trying to influence other dragons to carve them a mansion cave. Possibly the only productive things that Wenzyl has done for his family name has been the trade routes he has created with other pedigrees, and the only sane thing he's done has been marrying his love, Bitza, the level-headed girl who knows just when the family's power grabs are a little too eccentric for the world and just how to stop them before they get out of hand.
