Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Discomforting does as he pleases at his own pace. He has not a single daily routine; about the only thing that remains the same about him is his choice of partner, and she cares not what he chooses to do. If someone wants to meet Discomforting for something, they best listen for him rather than look for a location he might be in. If he isn't sneaking around and is making his presence known, he has a distinct almost howling cry which others can use to find him. He likes to stand uncomfortably close to anyone he's interacting with, leaning over them if they are small enough.
