Sinii Krai Dragons are known for their love of fish and their strong personalities. They are able to travel both in the air and in the water with their unique tails. They live on the coast in groups of ten or more and are fiercely territorial. Sinii Krai Dragons are nearly impossible to tame if not obtained at an early age. Great care must be taken around them as their skin is highly poisonous after maturity.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Krai for Help picked out her name all by herself because her parents squabbled and dithered about what to name their first egg and eventually just let her decide for herself. She's happy with her fine name but really tries not to show it, or any other "unseemly" emotion. Instead, she tries hard to be serious, stern, and unfriendly, but the dragons around her are all so goofy and good-humored that it's very difficult to keep a straight face. They also say such nice things to her and do favors for her at the drop of a leaf. Some people even say that Krai for Help breaks her facade very easily, at the drop of a leaf. She loves puns and is shamelessly proud of her own achievements no matter how small, so whenever somebody says her name, she can't help but waggle her tail in amusement. Ha-ha! "Krai". She just can't remain stoic as much as she tries to.
