Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Hessodel DorkfaceThuwed FallLeaf (Clan Mystal) joined the clan cave as its 24th member. She is a colorful representation of the combination of her parents, both in outward appearance as well as personality and characteristics. She is most active during the change of seasons, soaring through the heavens, challenging the winds to turn, as they always and inevitably do. As a youngling, the entire clan cave watched over her with great care and tenderness, and this affection and attention continues to this very day. Hessodel enjoys a special place in the hearts of all the clan dragons, and The Clan Mother as well. As a descendant of two individual and extremely noble bloodlines, she strives to uphold the ideology that is her birthright. She has shown an incredible interest in the art of magic, especially as it relates to the winds of change, and expends a great deal of time and energy in Clinohumitian's teachings.
