Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Demc wishes he had a tail. All the other dragons seem to have tails, but when Demc looks round, there is no extra limb attached to his rear end. Tails seem to have many uses, swinging through branches, balance, a conversation starter, so it upsets Demc greatly that he does not have one. He tried tying string around his middle to replicate a tail, but being a magma dragon, the flammability of the string led to an unfortunate incident he would rather not remember. Demc has taken to hobbling around on three legs, using his back leg as a tail, claiming a disability at birth if anyone questions his unusual gait. This annoys the other magma dragons, who because of this often get questioned as to why they have four legs and have to explain time and time again that Demc is the exception, not them. While Demc's three-leg plan is otherwise fool proof, he does come into slight problems when his leg is not flexible enough to swing him through trees, but it is a great conversation starter.
