Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Flick of the Wrist (Flick for short) is a young and calm-tempered dragon blessed with a great intelligence. She has learned to know and read her mother's ways and holds her in great respect and awe. Keen and curious, she has set off on a voyage—something like a quest—to discover the world and, perhaps, a little more about the Past from which Mother Drakin seems to shy away and cherish at once. Flick has seen many lands in her voyage and acquired much experience, and is wise for a black dragon. She has yet to gain battle experience, but her long flights, intensive magic use and her gift to arrive in places at the very moment things heat up will soon prepare her for when her aptitudes will be needed. A moment which she has been ignorantly trained for by her mother ever since her hatching.
She visits Mother Drakin every century or so, aware that the latter prefers loneliness, and goes to her more like a pilgrimage to a wise mage than a visit to the family.
