Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Stoneland is a male nocturnal dragon who resides in a cave in the mountain range known as 'The Dragon's Teeth'. During the day he stays in his cave, unable to emerge until nightfall. As a result, Stoneland has few friends and would be unbearably lonely was it not for his best friend, a pygmy dragon called Butterland. Butterland reads aloud or talks to Stoneland during the day, and at night Stoneland always shares his kills with the little pygmy.

Stoneland has recently found a female dragon who is nocturnal like himself. Her name is Vine of Blue and she is a Royal Blue dragon. The two are now mates, and now Stoneland is not so lonesome. Stoneland has learnt a lot about stargazing from Vine of Blue. In return, he has taught her about geology.

Stoneland is a dragon of few words. He is a patient and thoughtful dragon. Stoneland likes to study rocks and go for long moonlit flights.
