Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

SonMarsLyn is a Bronze Tinsel Dragon. She really likes shiny things. It doesn't matter if it is a precious gem or a sliver of metal, so long as it catches the light. She is really happy with her hoard of shinies, though other dragons make fun of her for it. SonMarsLyn is also a great swimmer, and spends a lot of time in the water. She often finds shiny things on the sandy beach or under the shallow water. SonMarsLyn won't go far from land, because she is terrified of drowning out there. She's perfectly fine so long as she can see the sandy bottom from above the water.
