Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Sawtooth Dragons are stealthy hunters that have mastered the element of surprise to attack prey from both above and below. They are born and reside deep in the jungle, stalking swamps and hunting anything that moves until their wings are large enough to sustain them in flight, after which they leap into the air to soar through the treetops and dive at their unsuspecting victims. The Sawtooths’ long jaws are almost unrivaled in strength, with serrated teeth and a bite so powerful they can crush even large mammals—their primary food source.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
It Doesn't Have to Be That Way keeps a gharial, in a smallish fenced-off part of the Blickens River. He obtained it shortly after he learned that it is a real animal. He doesn't do much exploring outside his land, and when a couple of dragons told him that his breed looks like this gharial creature except he is bigger and a bit taller and has wings, he didn't believe them. During a hike under some unusual circumstances, he came upon one and was amazed that what he was told wasn't a lie. For a moment, he considered killing and eating this lesser copy of him, but then, he decided to take it home so he can keep admiring it. Snappy little animal. Just like him! Of course, It Doesn't Have to Be That Way doesn't know how to look after any animal, let alone a gharial, so it's probably less happy than it was before. He's learning, though, and he's managed to keep it alive, so he's not a total failure. He's still considering what to name it.
