Tercorn Dragons are typically friendly and peaceful in nature. Most individuals are eager to help, and show highly-cooperative behavior. However, they can easily feel disrespected by those unfamiliar with their customs. While the three long horns protruding from their heads may be fearsome, they serve mostly to scare off aggressors, and if an attack is deemed necessary for self-defense, it is never deadly in intention. Tercorn Dragons are quite social and active within their aquatic environment, but rarely emerge on land if not caring for unhatched offspring in hidden coastal caves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Second daughter of her parents, Softglimmer is known in the Weyr of Soft Flowers for her exceptional beauty and grace. Her horns are said to gleam bright enough to cut through even the thickest autumn fog, and her silver-blue eyes have captured more than one heart with a single glance.

At least, those are the stories that her elder sister tells about her, when Softglimmer features in them. It's a little embarrassing, to be honest. Softglimmer is pretty, yes, and she has perhaps more than her share of suitors, but it's hardly a sweeping, magical effect. Softglimmer did give her sister permission to make her a character for her narratives, but she didn't expect such affectionate exaggeration. She knows her sister means to be kind with her boasting, hyperbolic tales, but Softglimmer might like it if there was less of this 'her voice holds the power to charm a mad Stone from its path' and more 'her collection of seashells is unparalleled in the Weyr.'

It doesn't seem like SO much to ask.
