Tercorn Dragons are typically friendly and peaceful in nature. Most individuals are eager to help, and show highly-cooperative behavior. However, they can easily feel disrespected by those unfamiliar with their customs. While the three long horns protruding from their heads may be fearsome, they serve mostly to scare off aggressors, and if an attack is deemed necessary for self-defense, it is never deadly in intention. Tercorn Dragons are quite social and active within their aquatic environment, but rarely emerge on land if not caring for unhatched offspring in hidden coastal caves.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Clutchmate of Softshimmer, Softstar was hatched into the rigid violence of the Weyr of Flame, ruled by the merciless Flameflow. Softstar hated the life of fear and authority, and so when Softshimmer secretly proposed a plan to flee, Softstar was eager to join in on the planning.

The small group of pacifist dragons split off from the Weyr of Flame successfully, fleeing to the Southeastern coastal marshes. There, far from Flameflow's influence, they formed the Weyr of Soft Flowers, a community of peace. The Weyr grew, open to any who agreed to the peaceful laws. Soon a scarred stranger named Starsilver appealed to join. His quiet, thoughtful nature drew Softstar's interest; tender-hearted, she loves most those who are alone, and Starsilver had been alone so long.

They've settled nicely together. And if Starsilver still goes quiet sometimes, sharing nothing of what flutters inside him, then Softstar will lovingly wait by his side until he is ready to share himself with her completely.
