Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Starsilver, long ago, was once known as Sliversong, in the days of the Featherwing Weyr. Back then, he was a trusted advisor to the mortal Feathers, secure and safe. Then came war. He was injured in the fighting, managing to flee, mad with pain, far from his mate, Songsilver, their daughter, Silversky, and the Weyr he once loved. He wandered for decades until he reached the southeastern coast, where he rested and healed slowly in the warm waters.

When a group of mild dragons began to establish a small Weyr there, Starsilver joined them, naming himself anew. He even took a new mate, a sweet Tercorn named Softstar. He began to build a new life.

Which was when Songsilver found the Weyr of Soft Flowers, fleeing the tyranny of the Weyr of Flame. For a while she did not recognize him, but when she did...

It was a mistake, an instinct of love and grief. But now there is a hatchling. Softstar doesn't know.

He loves her, and Songsilver, still. He does not know how to protect each heart.
