Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vr'Skriis has his mother's slender build and translucent wing membranes, but his scales have a dusky palor to them, from his father. He has a black dragon's skill with magic, a skill he has carefully trained since infancy and which surpases both his parent's talents in that area.

     Vr'Skriis is most comfortable around the younger dragons of his drove, and has little patience, which grates on K'Graa's nerves especially. He is cavalier and tries to be charming, but his brash nature often gets the better of him. Despite all this, he is fast friends with Syffa and Ryzen. Vr'Skriis finds humans amusing, and has been known to hold lengthy, if patronizing, conversations with any who will listen.
