Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Prae'Shkra Tundris is of average height, but slender build for an ice dragon. Her wing membranes are translucent, like glacial ice, and her hide is interspersed with veins of scales of that same description. Because most other dragons are uncomfortable in cold weather, they avoid her ice-coated sleeping cave, which does not bother her as she enjoys solitude. While a fierce and adept huntress, she is also cordially sociable, although uneasy around overly-energetic dragons, such as Thwipzus.

  She has a strong bond with Grier, who protected her as a hatchling and who often lurks around her cave. Most humans she finds uninteresting, although she once told Paddingpaw good naturedly, "Well, I suppose you only bore me half the time..."
