Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Menka is a fairly calm, peaceful dragon. He typically goes it alone, though he is anything but unfriendly. Menka is a charming beasty. He's approachable and conversational, just don't expect him to lead. It's probably best if he doesn't anyway, since he's obsessed with astronomy. Menka spends most, if not all, of his time within his observatory, constantly watching the sky and studying the movements of the stars. This makes him an expert navigator. He knows exactly where he is at any given time, if only were it not for thick clouds obscuring the sky. Whenever he isn't captivated by the night sky or a book about the night sky, he's cold asleep on the floor of his observatory. Menka may well be the heaviest sleeper known to dragon kind. Even Pillow Dragons would be impressed by how hard he is to wake up. Something could explode right next to his ear, and he still wouldn't bat an eye. His family has learned not to bother, to just leave him to his own devices and not pressure him.
