Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

His name means "Black Dragon" in Japanese. He is the firstborn son of Hanuke and Kuroi-Yimei. His egg was laid out of wedlock, and fearing that his love and soon-to-be child would hate him, Hanuke fled. Kokuryuu ended up hatching in the single-female section of the valley. He ended up having a TON of aunties because of this, as all the females adored the cute hatchling. Kuroi-Yimei eventually found Hanuke, and seeing the worry in his eyes reassured him of her love, and that their child would love him to, with or without a voice. He agreed to return, and after seeing the joy in his sons eyes, and the love in Kuroi-Yimei's, he decided to stay. They became mates, and Kokuryuu grew up with both his parents. He is a very rambunctious dragon, and loves telling stories and swimming. That's how he met Kuroi-Menkoi, she was swimming, and he decided to join her. She was so beautiful, and they shared so much in common. They became mates soon after. They are so in love and always will be.
