Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Her name echoes round the campfires late at night, but few, if any, dragons can claim to have seen Mince Pie, let alone spoken to her. Foundling member of the cave, Mince Pie was the first of Tastica's dragons and enjoyed the peace and quiet she received being a member of the 'Elite Four'. As more and more dragons crowded into their home, and what was once a small cave expanded into an underground complex, complete with flooded and volcanic areas, Mince Pie got more and more frustrated, until one day, she vanished. Pwll, the second dragon in the cave, searched long and hard for her, until eventually finding her in the original cave, now a lonely alcove far off from the main area. What had once been an entrance for four tiny hatchlings was now little more than a window, and Mince Pie stood there, looking out into the distance. "Leave me alone," she murmured, and Pwll left, accepting what she had known was inevitable. Mince Pie hasn't spoken a word since.
