Yellow-Crowned Dragons are found in the hottest, driest regions of the desert. Although they thrive in these conditions, they do very poorly in cold or humid climates. These dragons are very fast fliers and skilled hunters, and usually feed on small, quick desert antelope. Yellow-Crowned Dragons are diurnal, and spend the night in underground burrows they dig or steal from other creatures. They are often seen out sunning themselves in the early morning sun, waiting for the heat of the day to set in.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rhoda the Fierce is one of the champions chosen by House Plant. Well... She's not actually Rhoda the Fierce but Massaro the... less-important. She took the name after not-exactly-killing the original Rhoda one tumultuous December. There was an odd incident that really wasn't Massaro's fault where some artifacts got shuffled, and perhaps a spell of hers had unintended effects. Whatever happened, Rhoda wound up dead. Through no effort of Massaro, many dragons came to believe that this yellow-crowned was Rhoda the Fierce, here this fine holiday season to deck some baddies and deck the halls, and she was hired by the Plants. Rhoda the Fierce turned out very different from what people assumed, but she's very capable, as expected. She's bright, cheerfully stubborn, and adept in fire magic. She carries a bag of tin dice and has complex rituals involving throws and the meanings of numbers in specific conditions, but they seem to work for her, so other folks rarely question her about them.
