Ridgewing Dragons live just below the snow level on the upper slopes of mountains. They are a friendly, playful breed and enjoy dancing in wind currents near their homes or plummeting down into valleys from great heights. Their wings, by far their most striking feature, grow in fin-like ridges along their backs. While their bodies lack markings to blend better with their surroundings, a ridgewing’s wings have bright markings in the colors of the flowers that grow in their mountain habitat. Occasionally different-colored individuals can be found, but they are rare because their striking coloring offers little protection.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ayaz is calm and pristine. She's very similar to her tan sister, since both care so deeply about their appearance. This leads to a sort of rivalry between the two, though it's nowhere near as heated as others in the family. Ayaz is talented at one, specific thing: insults. She's quite smart and pays close attention to others in order to hurt them the most. Her sarcastic voice, strutting mannerisms, and astonishing beauty don't help much. She always makes sure to be as humiliating as possible. The thing is, though, while being Ayaz's enemy is a nightmare, being her friend is like a dream. Being around Ayaz is like being apart of an exclusive club. She treats all her pals like royalty and will valiantly defend them from anybody who thinks they can put them down. The catch is that Ayaz is extremely picky about whom she associates with. She won't even acknowledge humans, drakes, or pygmies, and even with her fellow dragons, she's quite strict. She demands loyalty above all else.
