Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Pyropegash ScarletFire (after the gemstone: Pyrope Garnet) was the 22nd dragon to become a member of the clan cave. Unlike some of her brethren, she is extremely caring and compassionate toward all the hatchlings whose young feet patter throughout the cave. She walks softly among them, always watchful and protective, taking great care to comfort them as best she can. The Clan Mother was quite pleased to see Pyropegash developing along a kinder path than some of her predecessors, and she frequently enjoys watching the interaction that takes place between them. No one, be they dragon or human, should ever doubt however, the ferocity contained within her rather formidable structure, for if the safety of the clan cave is ever placed in jeopardy, the very ground itself would shake beneath her footfalls. Thankfully, such a challenge has never arisen, and so, Pyropegash is content to spend her days and nights among the young ones.
