Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Tanziten Mystal GlitterFire (Clan Mystal) joined the clan cave as its 215th member, born late one dreary spring evening. He is a rambunctious dragon who enjoys spreading harmless mischief where ever he can, much to the frustration of his parents, the clan elders and The Clan Mother alike. He has a spirited inner fire that seems to glitter as brilliantly as his shimmering scales, and he is rarely ever in a bad mood. His favorite past time is to sit perched high above the cave entrance and shoot tiny little berries at all those who pass by. Because he prefers the nighttime hours, often his successes are not noticed immediately, and thus, he usually avoids direct confrontation with his unwitting victims. He surely must have a serious side, but none as of yet have been fortunate enough to witness such behavior. He seems content to spend his time in all manner of good humor, and tends to leave the heavier side of life for others to contemplate, leaving him the time to enjoy each moment.
