Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tanzalte EverGreen (after the gemstone: Tanzanite) was adopted into the clan cave as its 208th member, found by The Clan Mother near a grove of trees commonly known as Evergreens. Like his namesake, he is timeless and wise, with an almost ancient and magical wisdom far beyond his years. He spends most of his time lost in thought, gazing into the nighttime heavens as if beseeching them to draw near. Like others of his kind, unique and intricate patterns ripple across his wings like waves upon the sea, a mirror of the darkened sky with hundreds of glittering stars. He has developed a deep fondness for Tanzanitiel, and his affections have been reciprocated in kind, much to the surprise and delight of the clan elders. The pair can often be found walking together through the forest, taking each moment to enjoy each others company, and basking in the warm glow of their true love. It did not take long for them to produce offspring, bringing the first pureblood of their kind into the clan.
