Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Horatauex comes from the pairing of two dragons within the valley.  The keeper was reluctant at first to allow breeding within because of all the eggs that were being abandoned in the valley but she decided to allow it, knowing it would make her dragons even happier.  Horatauex is a rather somber fellow.  He tends to stay near his father and attempts to mimic him though his attempts are a bit futile as his father is a vine dragon.  He enjoys playing with Panzier on occasion when his father is sleeping and is often found in the company of Sasealea.
