Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Strangely-Motivated Lizard gets assigned a lot of the jobs in the District that are deemed easy and boring, jobs that no one thinks he could screw up. When he gets angry—which is rather often—he stops thinking straight. That seems normal for anybody who gets upset, but for Lizard, he stops being able to identify even basic cause and effect. If someone wrongs him, he usually enacts retribution on someone else, whom he incorrectly blames for the misdeed. While he's angry about something, even curmudgeonly and mean dragons generally try to avoid him, so they wouldn't get walloped by ice or tossed around by gales for the wrong reasons. Lizard also acts on dreams a lot, believing that his dreams show the truth. If he dreams someone did him dirty, it must mean it really happened or it will happen, and he'll ensure he'll gets his revenge. Nearly all of Lizard's behavior is inexplicable.
