Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Even before he hatched, Quentin was a disappointment to his family. His father absolutely loathed him for the color of his scales and his sister loved to push him around. He probably wouldn't have survived childhood if not for his grandparents interceding. Under their watchful eyes Quentin blossomed into a powerful magic user, one that could easily go head-to-head with his father. However, he considered petty revenge beneath him and instead sent his family members letters saying that he forgave them and would love it if they'd give him a second chance.

He never got a reply.

Quentin spent most of his time traveling before his sister and her mate saddled him with their firstborn egg. It apparently had the audacity to be a red and they wanted nothing to do with it. Needless to say Quentin was overjoyed to finally have a family member that liked him.
