Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Quintus is part of the Stripes of Hogwarts cult, which believes a dragon's personality and place are determined by the color of their scales. Black stripes are called "Death Eaters" and are known for being evil. In his youth Quintus tried to rebel against this stereotype. He didn't want to hurt anyone or cause any trouble. Instead he wanted to be a famous hero like a Gryffindor or a renowned scholar like a Ravenclaw. However, as the years went on Quintus started to realize that his dreams were bringing him nothing but pain and trouble. The red, blue and white stripes shunned him for his color and the black and green stripes mocked him for being a coward. Even his own parents didn't support him. Soon after reaching adulthood Quintus finally snapped under the others' hatred. They wanted a villain. Fine.

He'd show them a villain.
