Avatars of Change are unpredictable, exuberant dragons whose unique connection to magic has saturated their entire bodies. It is said that possessing one of their iridescent scales can change one’s fate, and many have sought the favor of these dragons hoping to receive a scale as a gift.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Weich lies around a lot. There are so many other hardworking dragons around to keep up appearances that he doesn't feel like doing all that PR and whatnot about the amazingness of avatars. Instead of getting up to exercise, he spends his energy on thought experiments and transfiguration spells on anything within a ten-tail radius. The latter freaks out local humans, who aren't aware of what's responsible for the rapidly changing environment and stay far from the Hex Circle.
