Blusang Lindwyrms are quite different from most dragons in that they lack hind legs. In this regard, they resemble snakes, and this is evident in their movement; these lindwyrms slither along the ground, using their forelegs to lift them over rougher terrain. Blusangs are a coastal breed, preferring to live along rocky beaches and in seaside caves rather than sandy locations. They are omnivores who graze on seaweed from time to time, although their primary form of sustenance is fish.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As captain of the Nworset Pipefish, Fizzo has final say in matters pertaining to her stickwaterball team. When she first had the stickwaterball arena built, few expected it would be used for its intended purpose, but now stickwaterball teams come from all over the world to play, drawing huge crowds of fans. The city gets gets tax revenue, and restaurants, hotels and shops get plenty of business, but those who hate crowds always dread the onset of stickwaterball season. Fizzo isn't particularly good compared to most players at handling waterballsticks, but her agility makes her excel at playing defence and she inspires confidence in her teammates. Sometimes her excitement makes the water bubble around her, distorting visibility and creating turbulence that tosses the waterstickball in unexpected directions.
