Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Everyone assumes that April, as a spring dragon, will be a cheery and happy dragon, who adores warmth, daffodils and everything associated with spring. Yet truth be told, April is far more like a winter dragon, adoring the cold and harsh climate, smothering newly budded flowers under layers of snow brought down to the mountains specifically for this purpose. The scent of pollen infuriates her so much that she is determined to prevent spring for ever coming, as the green fir leaves of winter hold the only beauty in the nature world as far as she is concerned. The morning chorus is seen as a nuisance from the blanketed calm of winter, and April will scare them away, with the assistance of gray dragons, whose strong wings will easily blow them into the distance. April will frequently deny the claims that she is delaying spring to anyone who asks, stating that it is just natural and she is sure it is just a one-off event.
