Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

She is the third child born to Xiaowen and Kousa. Her name means "Twilight" in Japanese. Hakumei has always been a strong and outgoing dragon, and has never shied away from the fact that she likes girls. She always figured that the other dragons would either accept that fact and be happy, or she just wouldn't care about their opinion. Luckily, none of the other dragons opposed. Growing up she always preferred playing rough to preening or gossiping. She's a fairly good fighter, and can hold her own against her larger brothers. She met her mate, Tsukimi, at a social gathering. Tsukimi was the most beautiful dragon that she'd ever seen, with graceful delicate features, and soulful eyes. Hakumei knew it was a long shot, but she went over and introduced herself. Turns out they had a lot in common. They both love walking along the beach to gather seashells, as well as singing and dancing. They became mates soon after. They are madly in love, and look forward to spending eternity together.
