Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Hemorpelt Mystal WhiteRain (Clan Mystal) was born into the clan cave as its 133rd dragon, born of a solid and pure family line. She emerged from her shell as the last few tendrils of winter sought to maintain their grasp upon the world, pelting the ground and all its inhabitants with a mix of chilling snow and freezing rain. Likely a result of her manipulations, there exists a small window each year just before the final break into spring when tears from the heavens rain down in droplets of white. All the clan dragons welcome her for with her comes the certainty that the cycle of time and the seasons will continue their never ending loop of change. She is a peaceful spirit who finds comfort in both the bitter cold of winter, as well as the awakening dawn of spring. It is said that she and The Clan Mother share quiet moments of contemplation, a ritual which both seem to enjoy greatly, as if without it neither would be able to greet the next sunrise with balance or conviction.
