Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

SunStreakBlood is the Red Striped son of Whittaric, a Green Striped and SapphireGoldStream, a Blue Striped. As unlike his parents in his nature as he is in appearance, he is vicious and coldhearted. His blue and green colored parents were surprised by the crimson egg, and even more so by the hatchling that came from it. He attacked the other hatchlings in the nursery and tried to cause them as much pain as possible. When removed and placed in a separate cave, he tormented the small animals in the vicinity. His nature grew worse as he matured, and he began to hunt out the weaker dragons in the family to beat them up. He hasn't got away with this behavior and has been punished many times by the elders. His refusal to change his ways worried his family, and while they did not have the heart to kill him, they have banished him to a distant mountain in the paws of some ancient dragons, under whom it is hoped that he will learn some kindness.
