Lunar Heralds are deeply attuned to the two moons of Valkemare, Aurax and Cirion. Strictly nocturnal, they draw energy from moonlight and will only hunt when the moons have waned. When breeding, the amount of moonlight the parents receive from each moon will determine the color of the egg produced. When a Lunar Herald is struck by direct moonlight, an illusion of multiple wings may appear. Witnessing a Lunar Herald’s illusory wings is commonly believed to be a sign of good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Despite his polished, mirroresque golden scales, Araceli is actually the humble type. He's friendly and approachable toward others and may even act shy or awkward if caught off-guard. It's quite surreal to see such a regal dragon act so tepid. He has a kind nature and willingly aids those in need if he thinks he can be of service. Araceli seems to get along with everyone except for his siblings. Many of them are gaudy, arrogant, and showy, and with him being one of the more attractive in the bunch but still acting humble, it causes friction. Many of his siblings are jealous of his looks and charisma, while he shames them for acting so childish. It's an accusatory cycle on both ends, with each looking down on and demeaning the other out of pure spite. They all can't seem to ever get along. Any time they share a space, there's bound to be drama.
