Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Leoren is the youngest prince of his cave,(currently) being the youngest child of Queen Furiku and her mate Illidallion. Leoren spends more of his time playing with the hatchlings than anything else and makes it a point to avoid his brother Ardinel when he's in a bad mood and looking for a fight. Granted, while he doesn't pick fights like Ardinel, Leoren does have his own quirk that leads to interesting situations.

Quite frankly, Leoren is afraid of females. So afraid that he can't even come within a certain distance of Furiku, who by all standards should be considered safe. The reason hasn't been discovered yet but many of the other cave residents whisper that it's because he remembers what happened the time he was attacked by a wild dragon shortly after hatching. They say that it's because he remembers Furiku and her ferocity and it scarred him for life. He's heard all the whispers and everyone knows he has, but he's never admitted if it was true or not.
